An interesting fact about Tinggi Island is its highest point from sea level rises up to 2000 feet (600 meters). Tinggi Island was formerly known as ‘General Hat Island’ by Chinese seamen due to its physical form. Meanwhile the strategic location made it as an important port center a long time ago.
SHAZ resort offer you different types of rooms according to their own classes. Starting from standard room chalet ; Std A, Std B, Superior and Deluxe rooms, Suites, Executive, Family & VIP. Each chalet was built with Malaysian traditional chalet concept featuring a private veranda with seating area, the rooms come with air conditioning, a led TV and water heater. Some rooms include a small fridge and wardrobe. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom offering shower facility. We have 83 rooms, but only 56 rooms can be used at this time and can accommodate 140 guests at a time.
It has a restaurant with views of the sea that offer local food meal buffet . There is a 24-hour front desk, meeting room, swimming pool, playground and children swimming pool. There is also has a souvenier shop at the resort.
A selection of activities such as island-hopping, snorkeling, kayak, jungle trekking and diving are offered in the area for guests to enjoy. So let’s fun, relax and refresh!
